Vintage Louis Feraud Leather two tone bag
Louis Feraud does quiet luxury back in time. The bag has no marks or logos until you open it. I love the silver front ring detail, it makes it feel very Chloe. Also the braided leather-like stitching. The bag has very soft leather, with no rips, tears, or leather stains. One zipper pocket on the inside. Two side hidden pockets on the burgundy sides outside.
While this bag was made in Argentina for Louis Feraud in Paris, the quality of the bag reminds us of modern pieces. It was a bit tricky to date this piece, but because of the design, we would think is 1980s.

About the designer:
Louis Feraud’s (1920-1999) fashion career started when he opened his first boutique in Cannes, France, in 1955. As luck would have it, Brigitte Bardot bought one of his dresses, and the attention this brought to the store helped to establish his name. He held his first runway show in 1960, after which his clothes were carried by stores in the US, Canada and the UK. In Paris, his boutique sold both his couture and pret-a-porter creations.
